audience responses

The performance was unique, how Shebana told the story, the movements, and the interaction with the audience. I could not imagine how beautiful it would be to combine music and dance from two cultures so far apart. My most sincere congratulations”.

“La actuación fue única, la forma en que Shebana contó la historia, los movimientos y la interacción con el público. No podía imaginar lo hermoso que sería combinar música y danza de dos culturas tan lejanas. Mi más sincera enhorabuena

It was a very moving performance and everyone was enthralled...When Coral stepped out and starting singing, it felt like something erupted inside me!! One of my students told me that he was still looking for words to express what he felt...

Watching the performance of Shebana C. and Coral de los Reyes was a real pleasure, a sensory experience that leaves no one with a minimum of sensitivity indifferent. Both Shebana C. and Coral de los Reyes do not just focus on representing a concept, but know perfectly how to evoke a truth that penetrates the skin and remains there. No doubt, I would recommend this show and would pay to see it again.
— MARIA LUZ GONZALEZ RODRIGUEZ
¡Un nuevo comienzo! Mi premonición es que algo muy potente va a salir en la versión castellana. (a new beginning, I feel something potent is going to emerge in the Spanish version)

For now, after this performance….

my inspiration for now…

Think not of the amount to be accomplished, the difficulties to be overcome or the end to be attained. But set earnestly at the little task at your elbow, letting that be sufficient for the day.
— william osler, physician (1849-1919). as quoted in The Sound of a Wild Snail Eating
