ABOUT THE EVENT
The Shab in my name means night in Persian. And I revel in the creative dark. the glossy dark. full of shadow journeys. This time of the year, the transition into a new dark is especially potent. And I was thinking this morning that I would like to share a guided experience with you - woven with soft songs and stories - to create fragments of something new, a phrase, melody, a movement.
All are welcome to join - especially those who are young in expressing their creativity in writing or movement, especially those who are old in it, especially everyone who feels called to join as they read these words.
If you're new to my workshops, know that all my guided experiences are a gentle nurturing environment. In this session, you can come with the video on or off, can share if you want or don't want. I’ll guide us - with sharings of songs, invitations to create fragments so something new is born in the dark.
The event will be an hour beginning at 7:30 am Mountain Standard Time. Yes, 7:30am! to awaken, one must rise, no?.
I will tell you that for all my love of dark, I really love early mornings. And I felt it would be wonderful to start early, to start out our day of a new season this way,
